The Construction Life

When people ask what i'm doing for the summer i tell them construction. However, that's not really what i do. Construction conjurs up images of building things, putting things together, driving tractors and forklifts and other such things.

That's not what i do.

I'm the guy who shovels plaster and stucco off the ground where the real construction workers dropped it. I'm the guy who moves piles continuously because real construction workers are never sure where they need a pile. I'm the guy who picks up trash all day long because real construction workers just throw their lunch trash on the ground.

But today i did real construction.

I sucked plaster out of a three inch crack in the ground for about 4 hours. Man i love my job.
